Cricket Betting at qqee — Bet on BPL, IPL and International Matches
From T20 to Test, BPL to T20 World Cup — qqee lets you bet on various markets in every format, including match winner, toss and top batsman. Live odds, real-time updates and easy payments — all in one place.
Three Cricket Formats and Bangladesh's Favourite Competitions
Cricket's three main formats — T20, ODI and Test — each have their own character. T20 is the fastest: a match ends in just 20 overs, every ball matters. Markets move very quickly in this format, so it offers the most opportunities for live betting.
ODI, or one-day cricket, has 50 overs per side, so the pace of the match can be read more gradually. Markets stay open at different stages of the innings — from the first powerplay through to the final overs. Test cricket runs over five days; many bettors prefer Test matches because there is more time to analyse the markets.
BPL is Bangladesh's biggest T20 tournament, and IPL receives the highest betting coverage worldwide each season. qqee also offers markets for the T20 World Cup and other international ICC matches. When the Bangladesh national team — the Tigers — takes the field, the depth of markets for those matches is naturally much greater.
Alongside cricket, qqee also offers football betting. There are differences between the two — football has three possible outcomes (team A wins, team B wins, draw), whereas T20 or ODI cricket mainly has two (team A or team B), which makes odds calculation more straightforward. Football has unique markets like handicap and corner count that are not found in cricket.
A T20 match result is decided in just a few hours — so betting results come through quickly.
What Are the Popular Markets in Cricket
qqee offers several markets on cricket matches. Below are the seven most commonly used markets and a straightforward explanation of how to bet on each.
Match Winner
Which team will win the match — team A or team B? There is no draw in T20 or ODI, so there are only two options. Example: if you bet on team A and they win, you win; if team B wins, you lose.
Simplest marketToss Winner
Which team will win the toss? This market closes before the match starts. The outcome is entirely random — batting or bowling skill plays no part.
Quick resultTop Batsman
Which batsman will score the most runs? You need to pick the best performer in the team. Example: choose who will be team A's top scorer.
Performance marketTotal Runs Over/Under
Will the total runs in the match be above a set number (over) or below it (under)? Example: line is 320 runs — if you think the total will be 340, choose over.
Totals marketMulti Bet
Bet on multiple matches or markets at once — if all selections win, the odds multiply for a larger return. If any one bet loses, the entire multi bet is void.
High risk-rewardFirst Wicket Fall
At what score will the first wicket fall? Or how many runs will be scored in the first over? These markets close at the start of the innings — results come quickly.
Innings marketPowerplay Runs
How many total runs will be scored in the first 6 overs? An aggressive powerplay means a higher number; strong bowling that restricts scoring means fewer. Example: over line is 50 runs — pick whichever side you believe in.
Segment marketDecimal, Fractional and American Odds — Three Ways to Show the Same Price
Cricket betting odds can be displayed in three different formats. All three express the same probability — only the way they are written differs.
Say you are betting on team A to win with a stake of ৳200. Decimal odds 2.50, fractional odds 3/2, American odds +150 — all three are the same price. If you win, you get back ৳500 (৳300 profit + ৳200 stake); if you lose, ৳200 is gone.
Now if team B is the favourite, decimal is 1.25, fractional is 1/4, American is -400. American minus odds show how much you need to stake to win 100. On a ৳200 bet you get back ৳250 (৳50 profit) — profit is lower on favourites, but the chance of winning is higher.
At qqee you can view odds in any format. Decimal is the easiest for beginners — just multiply your stake by the odds to get the total return.
| Odds Format | Team A (Underdog) | Team B (Favourite) |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 2.50 | 1.25 |
| Fractional | 3/2 | 1/4 |
| American | +150 | -400 |
| Return on ৳200 bet | ৳500 | ৳250 |
| Profit on ৳200 bet | ৳300 | ৳50 |
All three formats express the same price — only the presentation differs.
Multi bet example: three selections — odds 1.40, 1.50 and 1.90. Combined odds 1.40 × 1.50 × 1.90 = 3.99 (approx.). On a ৳100 bet, if all three win you get back ৳399; if even one loses you lose the full ৳100. Read more about multi bets on qqee Bet.

How Odds Shift with Wickets and Overs
Live in-play betting is the most engaging part of cricket betting. During a match, odds can change with every ball — when a wicket falls the batting team's odds lengthen (meaning the bookmaker believes their chances of winning have dropped), and when big shots push the run total up the odds shorten.
Say team A is batting in an ODI and needs 48 runs off the last 4 overs. Suddenly two wickets fall — team B's odds will shorten immediately because their chances of winning have improved. In that moment you need to read the live market and decide quickly.
In a T20 match, the powerplay, death overs and the introduction of a new bowler — each turning point brings movement in the odds. Being on mobile makes quick decisions during in-play betting much easier. The qqee App lets you see live scores and odds together.
Keep in mind though — live betting moves fast, so it is important to set a budget before you play. For tips on betting responsibly, read the Responsible Gaming page.
A Few Useful Tips for Cricket Betting
-
Set your budget first
Decide how much you will stake on each match before you start. If you take a loss on one match, do not try to recover it by placing a larger bet.
-
Choose markets that suit the format
Total runs markets are more volatile in T20; in Test, match winner odds move more slowly. It helps to stick to formats you are familiar with.
-
Be careful with multi bets
Multi bets offer higher returns but also higher risk — one wrong selection loses the whole bet. As you gain experience, add more selections gradually.
-
Do not rush in live betting
Live odds move fast — make decisions with a clear head rather than on impulse. In-play betting is for entertainment, not a reliable source of income.
-
Factor in pitch and weather
Try to understand whether the pitch and weather conditions favour batting or bowling — this helps when deciding on total runs markets.
-
Know your limits
Betting is a form of entertainment. If you feel you are going beyond your limits, take a break. qqee's Responsible Gaming section has support information.
If you are new to betting, start with small stakes — get to know the markets, then build up gradually.

How Betting on Football Differs from Other Sports
Besides cricket, you can also bet on football at qqee. Football has three possible outcomes — Team A wins, Team B wins, and a draw. Cricket (T20/ODI) has no draw, so the markets are simpler.
Handicap betting is popular in football — the weaker team is given a goal advantage. The equivalent in cricket is run handicap, though it is less common. Football also has corner, card, and goalscorer markets that do not exist in cricket.
For fans of cabinet games, qqee also offers live casino and slot games. To learn more about the casino, visit the qqee casino page.
